South Granville welcomes Granville Fine Art to the neighbourhood
Join Granville Fine Art, 2447 Granville Street, on South Granville for their grand opening celebration Tuesday, May 25th from 10am to 9pm. Located on the north west corner of Broadway and Granville, under the clock tower, Granville Fine Art showcases fine historical and contemporary Canadian, American and European Art.
A merging of the talents of proprietors Linda Lando and Ken Macdonald, Granville Fine Art is an eclectic new gallery which features Canadian master painters such as The Group of Seven, The Beaver Hall Painters, The Painters Eleven, The Automatistes and others. Works by American artists and European artists such as Van Gogh and Otto Dix are also available.
Ken Macdonald and Linda Lando are no strangers to the world of art. Ken Macdonald of Winnipeg has been a private art consultant for over 15 years. He specializes in the artwork of the masters, primarily but not exclusively Canadian. He is known for his keen eye and knowledge within the art world. Linda Lando has been dealing in Canadian Art for the past 25 years. She recently closed LindaLando Fine Art which specialized in contemporary traditional works as well as historical Canadian Art. In this realm, Linda has built many collections of fine historical art for her discerning clientele. Many of the artists represented by LindaLando Fine Art will show their work in the new Granville Fine Art space.
